About Us

The Hope Center for Behavior Change is a fully integrated developmental behavior therapy agency. We focus on data-driven, evidenced-based, and holistic approaches to behavior change. At the Hope Center, we believe the field of ABA is not exclusive to Autism.

Therefore, we also cater to persons with related disorders in need of behavior intervention. In addition to ASD, the Hope Center for Behavior Change specializes in the ADHD, ODD, and Intellectual Disability diagnoses.

We offer individualized functional behavior therapy in South Florida aimed at eliminating the root cause of undesirable behaviors. We have dedicated clinicians who are compassionate and committed to your child, their growth, and your family.

Our programs help your child make meaningful connections, gain independence, and limit adverse behaviors.

Meet our Founder & Clinical Director

Aisha “AJ” Albright-Jourdan

Dr. AJ, as everyone affectionately calls her, is a clinically trained specialist in supporting and empowering children with developmental and mental health disorders. She also specializes in a strengths-based approach to parent training; empowering parents to help their children reach their maximum potential. AJ also provides mental health therapy support groups for parents, family therapy, and individual therapy for children.

Aisha Albright-Jourdan is a Clinical Social Worker, trained in neurobiology and trauma. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager, and a doctoral candidate. Aisha holds a MSW from Barry University, a Master of Arts in Exceptional Student Education Comprehensive – Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of West Florida, a Master of Science in Administration of Justice and Security and is currently working towards a PhD in Sexology and a EdD in Community Care and Counseling – Traumatology.

Aisha has been passionate about helping families on their path to success for more than 10 years. She has worked as a paraprofessional, a teacher in the EBD classroom, and a family case manager. She believes in evaluating the person within their environment to help eliminate the root cause of a behavior. This means empowering the entire family unit, not just the child in question. Her background in social work, community mental health care, and criminal justice has served her well in advocating for the needs of her families in the community, the school setting, and with insurance funders. Aisha has worked in private practice for the last 2 years and has now decided to use her skillset to help families on a larger scale as the clinical director of Hope Center for Behavior Change.
